I last used it 21st Jan..
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v679/baileydog/thins.jpg

...here's a picture from last Tuesday (jet washed 3 times since Jan).

It does fade a lot quicker in the summer. Washing dulls it slightly but I find I only need a little to bring it back.

i can get some decent doudle sided tape, i used it on my side skirts and its stuck them ok. its used in the building trade, can get it from local builders merchants, its the only stuff i have been able to find, comes in 1.5m rolls, its around £5 a roll. there is 2 thicknesses, i'd use the thinner one for the bump strips.

Use the dashboard and plastic stuff for the tyres. Spray it on, wipe the alloys and leave. They look white for a little while but....BLING!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v679/baileydog/shinety.jpg

Makes the alloys stand out and look much bigger than the really are.

Aha! A mini meet! Excellent!

If its a saturday, then i may be working till about 1pm, so can join you all after that.

What we got in mind? Just a car park somewhere? or a drive/convoy to another point? (like i know what the hell i'm talking about...........!!!!!!)

Won't be in mine however, be the trusty Toymota i'm afraid. Shes nearly the same colour so i'll pretend i'm at the mk2 helm!

Suggestions on locations?

Just to add my comments on autoglym, i love the stuff, just like marjorie dawes luurrrrrvvveesss the cake!

Vinyl/rubber care is mint for tyres, as said, goes white but sparkles afterwards.
Bumper care snot is the business too, buffs up a treat.

I got the full range due to my work stocking it and staff rate being more than favourable......ahem!

Took the old girl off the road a while back. Always wanted more power, even tho the combination of 1300cc and 4-speed box provided fun, it left me wanting when overtaking at times.

Ran a few cheap and cheerful cars for a while and saved enough to by a XE motor. Yes, easier to buy a valver instead of a transplant, but anyone can do that and i always take the hard route anyway. Besides, love my car to bits, couldn't part with her if i had to, so a transplant it will be.

That is as soon as i get my finger out of my backside and finish stripping the convertible in my lock up and transfer the bits to the one in my garage. Poor weather, lack of tools, doing a lot on my own and sheer bone-idleness have resulted in slow progress, but made a promise to myself that within this year it will have different engine in and be running.

Once that stage is done, got squillions of more plans for her, but you'll all just have to wait and see, wont spoil her tho, always loved they way i have her looking, so it wont look much different.

hi mate and thank you :)

well here are a couple of pic's of the GTE in the garage. As you look at it in these pic's its covered in polish. I am just in the process of cleaning it from top to bottom for PVS. I have just fully serviced it. New windscreen will be fitted on saturday, should be receiving n/s/f inner arch liner soon from mk2sri :) and the door strips should be here next week from Brett :Banane47: I am just on the lookout for a o/s/f wing painted white :)

I am using the Range Rover for work and the mpg is killing me. it really only comes out on a weekend.
