Right then heres a question you might be able to help me out with. How rare is the astra gte 16v in silk-violet? You always see a champion at the shows and they say they only made 250 of them so how many silk-violets did they make? bearing in mind they only made them on a J plate :)

I think its 250. I spoke to a guy on MIG called MPH who has one at Billing and Im sure he said it was 250.

IIRC there was apprently 500 Champions made.

I was told they only made 250 silk-violets but wanted to know if this info was correct!!!! Hows it going then? I've got loads to do on the track car @ the moment its a rolling shell with no front end!!!!! :)

mines fine had some welding for the MOT and Im about to fit a roll cage:D

have you managed to straighten the front out after the smash at Donnington or not?

Alright hows it going?! The engine is out and all front panels are off, we gave it a pull on the trusty gig and it's better than it was before I had it!! it's going to be welded this weekend but theres alot of work to be done. Rules and regs have changed for the championship so got to think about engine as well.
