My old GTE... From restoration to resignation!

Poor old thing is probably being made into pots and pans as we speak... :(

so here's alittle look at whats gone on over the last 3 or so years (bear in mind, apprentice wages! and i bought it at 19) So here are a few randonm pics of it's life in my hands....

Well it was a case of having no space or time for another "off road" restoration project.. lol.. building the one in the garage, and restoring the aircraft consumes every Saturday.. just couldn't do it.

Looked upon it as: "I've learnt a lot from doing it, and enjoyed it most of the time!" lol

and the front bumper and door live on, albeit with slightly less drill holes.

anyone else want to donate some bits of car :D

so far ive got the bulkhead off of chris roses mk2 merit, door and front bumper off of scotts gte above, exhaust manifold off of kingsly, wheels off of J1400, stalks off of daves calibra, engine mount off of andys mk3 astra, throttle bodies off of garyp's pinapple machine, gearbox off of claires mk3 gsi, lower wishbone off of matts astra, steering rack off of chris's mk2, a mk2 bonnet from an astramax became the patch for my sunroof :D its not my car anymore its everyone elses.
