Hi, is there a vaux site that shows the power/weight of all models?
For exsample
Mk2 GTE 2.0 16v C20XE weight 950 kg

OT: Will alloys of a Renault Megane fit properly onto a mk2 or a calibra? I've been offered some 17"'s by a freind!

GTE 16v weights 1032Kg's for the late ABS/PAS models.
power to weight is calculated by dividing BHP by weight and timesing it by 1000.
Mine is in the 170bhp/tonne reigon.

nice, could you tell me if ET 35 alloys will fit my cali which is somthing like et 49

i did not think calis where 49mm
et35's will fit you might get a bit of wobble around 50mph tho.my mate's selling some 17" oz alloys that where fitted to a cav gsi & that drove ok & the're et 35

why would you get wobble at 50 mph you should not only if the wheels are out of balance the et is only the distance the inside face of the wheel is from the center of the wheel

35mm would just mean the wheel would stick you of the car 14mm more
I had the pleasure of riding a 2004 Yamaha R1 this summer. 1000bhp/tonne.
That thing was flipping quick.

It has to do with the drive shaft set up, it causes tramlineing and wobble.
