Ok, Thought I would whack some pics up of the latest edition. I feel like ive done these threads too many times! Anyway here are some pics. I will keep it simple as youve all seen it before. Unfortunately it looks a little dirty under the bonnet as I took these a few weeks ago. I cleaned it all up just before the meet, but felt like I would be a tart if i popped my bonnet!

And there it is! Forgot to get any pics of the interior. I also conditioned it all just before the meet and, as anyone will have seen, its in really good nick. Hope you like!

No matey, the engine os from a cavalier turbo. I didnt fit the engine myself. Was going to LET my last mk2 astra, but for the cost of fitting it etc it worked out not far off off what I paid for this car :)

lol, Im sorry matey, time was ticking on and we were still 3 hours or so away from home! Plus the fact it ran out of damn fuel on the way home! Damn that sticky fuel guage :rolleyes: all sorted now.

I'm having a Rob Twitchell moment with what to do with it tbh. Im 21 in June and things are on the rocks with the missus, mainly because we need to move out of the shithole area her flat is in. Dependant on how things go on that front, Ive told her I will sell the car after ive taken it to Nurbergring in July. If things dont work out for us, the car will be getting revamped and a proper power hoink :)

our (ex) lass used to moan about my car, at the moment the cars on the drive, she's gone back to the evile mothers and i'm off out tonight to find to ladies with low morale standards (remember I live in doncaster so it's not a great challenge :D) got to get your prioritys right

don't worry about cruelly denying me a look at your new motor seeing as you bought it only minutes from my house, as you can clearly see I got over it :p

All depends how close you and your girl are TBH.

A fancy car's worth fook all compared to a good woman, AND, there's nothing to stop you getting another car like this again in the future ;)

Thats the way Im looking at it Paul. Its the same lass that was at Oxford. I can always get anoth mk2, will be hard to find a beautiful lass that cooks, cleans, doesnt cheat, loves me etc etc. Especially trying to find one that isnt already snapped up! 2 and a half years i think its been since we got together. End of this summer may be the time to grow up :)

I will never leave the mk2 fold though and will definitely be back for more :bananajump:

I totally agree on the splitter front. I actually look the face on look of it, but it doesnt follow any other lines. Its only there to protect the intercooler pipework :)

Looking forward to getting it over to the ring though, even if it does mean some form of loan/overdraft extension! :Banane35:
