yep big feckin ouch

i had a spring fully compressed off a strut , then the compressor lip snapped off allowing the spring to expand hitting my thumb along the way.
lots of blood swearing and tears. had to drive muself to hospital aswell as no bugger was in... and my missus is a bloody nurse lol

I always look on the bright side of things or try to anyways

Could of been way worse m8 sound lucky that is wasn't

Had 2 m8s years ago, Talk about weird things happening to thumbs

1 had his thumb stamped off in a 20 or 200 ton press can't rem exact tonnage
T'other within days lost his motorbike on a bend that had some loose gravel accidently spread over it and as he slid along with bike on him he had to watch n feel his one thumb get scraped away

After sometime obviously they could laugh about it as between them they had lost a left and a right thumb and used to have a contest to see which one could open a drinks can the quickest with their duff hands

As for spring compressors i got a decent tri-type, Wouldn't trust any other after using this type as it aint worth the pain or loss of a digit etc

Anyways enough of the horror

Hope ya get yaself sorted asap and sort the V6 ;)
