Thats a sweet Astra and those RS vents are pure sex, how hard were they to set in to the bonnet? I need a more efficient vent system for the LET, the GTE one's just dont cut the mustard tbh.

They were suprisingly easy to fit those vents, they are nearly the same length as the gte ones, just a bit wider. So I just needed to enlarge the original holes. As they are a fibreglass copy there was a bit of smoothing to be done but they really do work well, you can feel the heat escaping out of them after a good run.

The material is just thin bassbox carpet that I found in a shop near me. The 3/4 cards are just 3mm MDF cut to the shape and then the carpet is stuck on with sprayglue. To do the door cards I ripped off the original trim but kept the top black vinyl part and again used sprayglue to stick the carpet on. Same idea for the plastic boot trim panels.
