doesnt mention the tube thickness so its impossible to say for sure but going by the price it's probably very thin, only for show really.
Thats the same as the cage I have. http://www.astra-mk2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=207

i just emailed them and asked if they can make me a custom designed cage
i love the shiny metal but i guess steel is the way for racing?
wonder if i can go half way n have stainless steel?

A stainless cage would be very expesive I'd imagine if you want decent tube thicknesses to give you a strong cage for racing.

That's an all show and no go cage. I would refuse to get in the car with you if you intended to use it in a 'racing car'

i dont think its for an application allen, they wouldnt let you race anyway with that.
however on a fastroad/show car its better than nothing as spankee/shinee/one of that lot found out when he trashed his champion, cage was handy then, shiney or not!

There's nowt wrong with the cage as it is. It's just a main hoop with a few supports. Top dog for that bling bling caged up look for the street. Not my cup of tea but can look alright.

Yeah, think the seller has the right to remove the sale if it doesn't reach a price their after! :(

I don't think so, complain to ebay they are more likely to listen because he has a shop. But tbh they will proberbly fob you off because ebay are a bit shitty when it comes to things like this, but thats a good price if you can get it off him!
emailed him & made a complaint to ebay it'd be a different story if it was£200 & i wanted to cancel

this guy has just done the same with me.
got the same cage for a nova....£140 later, i email him saying im sending a cheque....
get one back saying i cant have it....he said its too little amount to sell it for...
he said he will do me an UNPOLISHED one instead....so i've complained to ebay, he had no reserve, so he has to sell it.
he says now, after having a good old biatch at him, he will sort me the cage out.
its not fia approved, its just a 51mm alloy cage, but appartently he has done this to more people than me and you.....what a kn0b

Yeah, think the seller has the right to remove the sale if it doesn't reach a price their after! :(
only if it has a reserve...if it hasnt got one...he has to sell...if not, he's breaking a legally binding contract you agree to when you sign up to sell..
or..
he can end it early...but when its over...he has to sell
