Hi guys im new to this , i was given my astra GTE 8v for free (long story) was just going to post some pics of it so far its getting resprayed the same Flame Red end of August

any help and advice would be loved :)

lo m8 i will have it back in a few days when it goes in , pics will follow , i just had to have a brand new windscreen fitted , wasnt to bad i payed the excess which was £50

i've allso painted the center caps on the wheels so they look all silver now :)

your right m8 , i do want to keep it standard but was just given a brand new dtm back box :eek: so watch this space lol cant wait to get it sprayed

hi guys , well is all done its been resprayed , all i need to do now is give it a couple of days then give it a good clean ,

it looks really smart as it is will post piccys up asi tryed to take some as it was going through the stages

and yes im a jammy bugger :p :D

Can i ask how much you paid for the respray?

I'm keeping mine standard, oh apart from the Cavalier GSI alloys!

was done as a favour i fixed the guys pc , so in return he sprayed the car , i did the masking and removing of parts

well i had my MOT today and it failed on 2 things :eek:

First was the boot where the Towbar bolts to the floor pan and second was where some idiot who had the car before me jacked it up under the sill not on the jacking point and pushed the floor up :mad:

so apart from that it flew through :D and all i did was change the wipers and bulbs , not bad at all

so going to do the failures on Friday so will take some piccys of before and after :)
