i picked myself a bargin up last week,this astra sxi.
it has koni adjustable shocks,eibach springs,bsa 17" alloys,2.016v front brakes,digi dash,k&n,unknown backbox,momo steering wheel. it was resprayed about two months ago in ferrari titanio grigo colour with a gold glitter added too. i think it was a bargin for £500,i know its worth that in bits alone!!

You are kidding? Can't you inject some more mk2 hormones into him? Maybe some testosterone while your at it!! :D CORSA!!! TUT TUT

That looks spot on. Like you said, its worth the price you paid in parts alone! Did he have any rust removal done at the same time, ie sills etc? Looks to be in good nick! Also do you still have the car in your sig?
Nice one, looks clean :D Is that to replace Dans old motor?

Im still here!!! lol i pop back every so often! Belive me the astra was a much better(AND FUN!) car to drive than the corsa!!! But i had to get rid of it because insurance was a bomb! and things kept going wrong :rolleyes: But i should think that i will have another Mk2 sometime!!! :D

Thank the lord!!! Thought you were lost for a minute there mate! My insurance is a grand, but worth it!
lol nar the astra is the better of the cars! The corsa only costs me £900 in my own name, but its not got any mods on it yet! Buying a few things for it though to put on in the summer! :D

no,the rust is coming through in a few places,i might fix it,might just run it into the ground!! it seems i keep getting more and more parts,i love the sxi look better than the gte,but would prefer a 3 door,so i may end up breaking this for a 3 door project.
i still have the convertible,but im putting it back to standardish,as i wana buy a house so im going to sell it. what im thinking is using all the bits from the cabby,and this,to build my ultimate astra....a let sxi,with all my modified and uprated parts.

What spec is the covertible going back to? Are you leaving the XE in?

yeah,i will leave the xe,spax suspention,16v brakes front and rear,front bumper,exhaust. just gotta find some wheels for it,think i still have the origanal alloys somewhere.

um...im not sure,i bought it off a mate who lives round the corner from me. when he bought it it was blue,it was only resprayed a couple of months ago

looks good for £500! bit too much colour coding tho, needs breaking up a bit with black b and c pillars and black quater vents.

i know what you mean steve,im going to tint the windows soon,hopefully that will break it up abit.
