Howdeediddlydoo gang.
Fresh over from Migweb and VxLSCC. I have probably chatted with a load of you before any way, but hello.
I have two MK2 Astra GTE 16v's. One Grey, one mint Bordeaux Red one. The Red one was picked up on Friday night with PhilAstraSport off Mig. Good drive home. Embarrassed a Volvo S80 2.5T and Phil in his Mk3 (no less than 3 times, then he gave up). Ha Ha.
He also has a MK2 now, is the shell that Kev Bradford used to have a Phase 3 LET in. Very clean MK2 that. I iwll get him to join here soon.
I will post some pics as soon as..................

Cool. I get a good discount through Vaux MD on some stuff, but not all..................things like intercoolers, dump valves, and the like might be of use in the coming months.

Howdy, It still surprises me when I drive a Valver at how punchy they are, IMHO there are few 2.0 16v engines that can match the XE:)
then we can start arranging things with suppliers etc
Ooooh I've gone all quivery, I'm starting to struggle when it comes to finding stuff for the Kadett:(

You just need to get stalker meady onto it.. it's amazing some of the stuff he's dug up from the motorsport world that'll be making its way onto this site in time..

LMAO!
In an Ideal world i'd find a set of Irmscher front and rear wide arches and some Irmscher smoked clusters but then I might as well look for a fourleafed clover or some rocking horse pooh.
I'll be drawing a list up soon and see what I need  *wallet runs off and whimpers in a corner*

I'll be looking for a FMIC suitable for an EDS Phase 2 Map, a decent "not-too-loud" dump valve, silicone hoses that sort of thing. I am going to build an LET out of an XE engine I have in kit form and various LET bits kicking about the workshop. Will get a std turbo sorted and re-con'd to keep costs down. I know EDS claim 280bhp and a useful amount of torque, but I am happy just to have improved driveability over std to be honest. A 200bhp MK2 Turbo is still going to be a rapid car and when you get into the realms of 300bhp things add up a little, especially running costs, albeit the trade off is a rather large grin as I found in Kevin's old car!
