  • A cheap alternative to champion seats .....

    Have a look................

Ignor the crap inner's you can have them re-trimmed fairly cheap. They are genuine recaros and are almost identical in shape to champion seats (apart from the lack of fish nets).
There are about 2 or 3 pairs of them for sale on ebay and they never really go for more then £70!!

    Bargin!!

Getting them to fit should not be to hard. Nothing a bit of welding wont sort out.

Great tip. Are these what you put in that red Champ replica? Didn't you say they sat a bit too high?

I wish I had put these ones in the red champ.

The ones I used looked like recaros but wernt.
These ones look a lot better.

Those are Rover ones it says in the advert. Exactly which model though he doesn't seem to be sure. I think we need to find out

They are leather but aren't really a sporty fit.

cally seats are ok but as richie said they are a bit too bulky for a mk2 imo

Cally seats sit to low in a mk2 if you ask me. I had them in mine for a while this time last year. comfortable though!

they are deffinatly Rover 800 Vitesse seats, mates brother had one a while ago. good seats.

my tip - Escort RS turbo seats retrimmed in leather, look the same and they are easy to mod to make vaux subframes fit too.

Yeah they r Rover Vitesse seats, also available in the rover 620Ti but they dont have the recaro sown on to them and rnt as bolstered, so the vitesse ones r the better choice, very comfy plus the Vitesse's arnt too hard to find

Not pretty either IMO, but their beauty is that they tilt.
