    Re: steering

last year on christmas day the ignition switch caught on fire, every time i turned ignition on it smoked so couldn't drive it until i got a new one a couple of days later from scrappy. not really serious or expensive. luckily nothing else was melted but i had a fire extinguisher in the car. just the hastle of going to scrappy and getting towed home etc.

fit a manual rack, it wont happen again and you get more feedback from a manual one.

      Re: steering

Had a fight with my mum one year and drove to my girl friend's on Christmas eve with the right hump. Had a bad case of lead foot and took a corner too fast and drove in to a tree. Had to limp up the M1 to her house to where the car died and had to be transported back to Milton Keynes. Not the best Christmas I had. Christmas was always a good excuse for a fight in our house.

Better add me to the list. Just had an argument with the missis about how much money she has spent. No surprise there then

mate you can drive it without PAS, I drove my Cally Turbo home without it last weekend. just avoid having to make any tight manouvers. once your moving it makes no difference anyway.

On my 18th birthday an old codger wrote my car off. Last Xmas eve I came home to find my car windscreen put through and a couple of years ago I was heading out on the piss for new years eve and randomly started garden hopping, to which i fell and severely sprained my ankle. Most special occassions turn out bad for me mate!

ive changed from a normal rackto a PAS one. The steering was getting far too heavy standstill.
