Hi, I just got a link from the migweb forums to here and I thought I would just say hi before I start posting anywhere else :)

I drive a 1.4 astra mk2 (and an Aprilia 125cc but thats going to be sold) but I have an opel cadett 1.8l 8v to put in it since the body is totally screwed on the opel.

Future plans:

Replacement panels and general body tidy up.
Front and rear GTE bumpers
Replacement big bore exhaust system, but i'll wait for transplant before I do this.
Nice induction kit (maybe a 57i or somthing)
Zender front splitter
JMS rear skirt
M3 sideskirts
Bad-Boy bonnet
Clear all round light clusters
Blended in bodywork
Twin head lamp conversion with inner lights mounted in the GTE bumper

welcome to the site mate, there are a few people on here with 1.4's, good little engines. 1.8i be even better though.

Interested in the commet about the twin headlamp plans, what lights you moulding into the bumper? I've got quads already and am going to put round lights into the bumper to match them.

It's an idea I got from a fairly recent (would you belive it) cover car on max power.

He removed the inner lamp from each and and smoothed them over, he then used the inner lamps either side of the intercooler grill.

Looked very nice. I'll scan a pic for you if I get a chance!

Well I don't know it might do more harm than good when it comes to aerodynamics plus I want a smooth style.

But i'll bear it in mind :)

Thanks for the offer m8, but the cadett I have has the twin spoiler set up and GTE bumpers in good condition. So i'm cool for parts as it goes.

Cheers anyway!

Thanks for the kind welcome as well peeps!
