hi bit late now but thought i would put up some pics of my old gte as i am looking to go down the same route with my valver.

engine

1.8 8v ohc
k&n air filter
power boost valve (never again lol)

bodystyling

badboy bonnet
toyota mr2 phase 2 front bumper modifyed to fit mk2
custom rear bumper
smoothed rear quarter panel vents
delocked doors
rear tailgate and side strips removed

wheels and suspension

15" tsw's
lowered 35mm all round on koni suspension (not sure they were already fitted)

ice

kenwood single cd head unit
sony 6x9's
twin splx subbox 800 watt
splx 800 watt amp

resprayed in saab blue with all rubber strips and stickers removed.

sorry about poor quality i have had to take pictures of photos on my phone as i have not got the car any longer thanks to the local scumbags getting a thrill off stealing and ragging it around until the engine dies and then setting it on fire sad i know but they have to get a buzz from somewhere!!!

any views/opinions welcome

I had 2 1.8 gte's, a B and D reg and loved em, cheap, fast and easy to fix.

i like the front one

but was not keen on the rear myself but what i planned was to make the holes bigger and get a twin exhaust but never got round to it i think it would of set the rear bumper off a treat

not too sure about the back bumper either, the front one looks good though!

gaz passed test now drive a 1.6 l cavalier like 1 below.

not sure on the bumpers gaz :confused: but if thats what you like m8 we cant all like the same but nice colour gte....
