Just bought this! don't really know what to do with it prob will just be broken for parts but seems a shame as nothing really wrong with it.



I have been working on it for the last few years servicing and welding for the mot so i know its a good car and the owner is moving to china so thought it would be rude not to buy it shame its not a 2 door.

I don't think i will be selling it whole don't really know tbh It has a good int, front wings are good has had the rear part of the sills patched and the paint is a little flakey in places but its a solid car with little rust otherwise. I paid reasonable money for it so would only sell it if someone made me a silly offer.

The non cassette lower centre console cubby (90207104) is a good for anyone who's upgraded beyond a tape deck stereo.
CD player and tape storage? Where do I begin with that!?!?

Lots of good stuff on it! Interiour is all black it will be reduced to a bare shell and any bits i don't want sold on. As far as i am concerned it was worth it just for the 2 x rust free original front wings.

Or chuck in a Saab B234, upgrade the brakes and tyres. Keep everything else looking standard. Surprise Scoobies at the lights.

We are talking the 4 door there right? Still in need of some interior trim panels/parts in black. Last one I saw sold in parts here I showed interest in, but never worked out....

You have first dibbs then engine has done 90000 miles and is sweet what exactly do you want i know you need engine and box everything is for sale except steering rack as i want a spare manual rack. will do you a good price if you want alot of parts.

Yea the 4 door the red merit is my baby. What do you need? I may sell the int all together though if someone wants a complete black int for a 4 door.

The idea with the merit is to keep it looking pretty standard on the outside when it goes five stud it will be going back to steelies too so don't need another sleeper I am considering saab turbo power for that though. I would love to do something with it but the parts will go to many other mk2's including my own so it is going to die for a good cause.

What I mean are the plastic bits on the inside of the B-pillars that cover the seat belts, and the thin long plastic strips that are screwed to the top of the sills in the inside. Also want the covers that go over the ECU and the other side. (at the sides of the footwell)

Also would love to have the front door seals (the ones on the chassis to seal the doors)
