  • Asuna GT in Canada

    http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ352318534

I found this gem on Kijiji. It's only an 8 hour drive away but I'm not in a position to take on another vehicle at the moment. The ad basically reads

'1993 Asuna for sale for the road or for parts. Lots of new parts, bodywork is in very good condition. £320'

I believe these cars were fitted with a 2.0 16v engine too.

What have they done to it's face?? It seems to have developed a severe underbite.

Auto 2.0 16v? That would be different. Kinda looks like a crx at the front. You should get it for that price, how much would itcOst youto get it?

Loads of details, auto, FWD, runs on gasoline, etc, etc, but nothing about the engine size.

        Might be a 1.6.
Detailed car specs: 1993 Asuna SE/GT. Find specifications for every 1993 Asuna SE/GT: gas mileage, engine, performance, warranty, equipment and more.

After a good little trawl of the net, I can only find references to Asuna GT and SE fitted with 1.6.

          Re: Asuna GT in Canada

My workshop data here in Canada shows the SE as a 1.6 and the GT as a 2.0, it has been known to be wrong though! I'm still on a work visa so I can't justify buying another car but we can buy temporary license plates here (like trade plates) so collecting it would just be the cost of the fuel (70p per litre)

When my residency comes through I'll definitely be looking at importing one of my mk2s or buying an Asuna/Pontiac.
