A mate of mine does banger racing. He spends ages building the cars, painting them, making them look great and then destroys them in no time at all

I guess he's good at painting cars then, if you ever decide to spray a car, you could get him to do it.

One car I've never seen on a banger track is a MK2, I've seen loads of MK3s and Novas, but never a MK2, maybe because of the corners handling is bad.

I saw plenty of mk2's destroyed on the banger track a few years ago. They do seem to hold up pretty well one in particular i remember survived the whole day although it was half the length it started the day at!!

Thats point tho..
Doesnt need to be pretty or even very practical Just Strong and be somthing you can pull off and use again. Its a banger car not a show car..

Only fault i can see is its for a vectra and there rubbish for racing only good thing about fords the ...... Mondeo..
