thats a very good price for that kit yes but what work have you already done to your engine i dont know loads about the 1.6 or 1.8 but with that sort of duration its going to make it very very harsh on the road and i would say that without a tuned engine to start with and a higher rev band you will not get much joy from that sort of lift and duration and will the lift be to much on standard pistons ?????? as i have said i done know loads about these engines but that would be my first reaction

would go well with twin 45s and arp bolts...wouldnt like to run it without cos you wouldnt ever get to the best of the power band
for 35 quid tho LMAO

same cam i had in my mk2 cav. worked a treat.
This was an impulse buy ,i was intending on getting a cam for the rebuild so it worked out nicely .My engine is currently a bare block ,so far i have is a Blydenstein B+ head with the inlet going to be blue printed to the head ,this cam kit ,lightend and balenced crank with a flywheel to follow .While its in this state im going to see about some pistons ,becuse it would be a waste not to do it at this point (Rob we could do a deal here ;) )when i get my arse in gear and get my finances sorted out :o .

lol
dont lighten the crank too much, a regrind is all they need...keep the strength there
