Engine
2 litre 16v Turbo from a '97 Calibra Turbo (C20LET), arp bolts, 1.8mm gasket, lightend and balanced flywheel,18 litre Intercooler, 50/150 nitrous spray, Phase 2 EDS chips, T4 KKK turbo running constant 18psi, Saab Red Injectors, fully ajustable fuel regulator with raedable gauge, Piper X airfilter, Straight through 2 3/4 inch exhaust with single 5" Rage back box, competition rally engine mountings, Bailey piston dump valve, lots of other small things.....

Transmission
5-Speed (F20) straight cut gearbox

Suspension
Spax adjustable suspension, lowered 100mm

Brakes
Front & rear turbo grooved EBC discs and Padjit racing pads

Styling
Fully stripped interior, with 2 FIA approved corbeau bucket seats, one-off respray and one off front bumper, spare wheel well removed and flat plate welded, rear quarter panels smoothed, centre exit-exhaust, mk4 astra side repeaters, morette twin headlight conversion, single wiper conversion

Interior
Fully stripped, leather sports wheel, amp.. oil and 2 turbo boost gagues and fuel pressure

ICE & Security
ICE, none existant, Clifford 600 with anti-hijack + multilock and disklock (so don't even think about it)

Performance
0-60 yesterday (est), 0-100 today (est), top speed - clock runs out at 140mph in 4th gear @ 6000rpm rev limiter in 5th is 8000rpm... coming on the 4th july 2004 100bhp of laughing gas you work it out... (wieght 880kgs)

Aah ha ,another 5dr Merit owner ,i thought i was alone but i knew some1 would appear .:D

Looks good fela ,Mine is still standard from the outside apart from the 18"s .but once i get a few problem areas sorted its going for paint and kit .
But everything else that you cant see is done (for the mo)I chucked all my stuff from my SXi 1.8 on to it .
Its clean as ,since the old boy i got it from from down the road neva used it so the engine had a Gen 9k on it .;)

hello m8 sorry it has taken so long to reply my computer went on a wobler and i think i have soted it...Nice to see another 5 door alive to many three door models ;) everyone has one :D . I wa in leith in edinburgh over the weeend staying at the caravanpark there, pit i di nt kow earlieer i coud of given a shout and had a meet. Can you st somepics mate f yourmotor

wheels look nice m8 was thinking of getting some new ones myself, a place called power surge has offerd me a set for £250 wheels only but motorworld is doing wheels and tyres for £299 so me is thinking about it

Ive got it lowered all round but the back sits higher than the front so im going to have to put 60mm on the back .the wheels r bk239s 18" with toyo t1s ,they are about the only thing that is new on the car at mo :D

But with that just one of the tyres costs more than the car Lol :eek:

changed my air filter ststem running an evo hks system, and put silicon pirtek pipes, two oversized, new clips were £4 eack christ i needed 14 i nearly shat, also running porche ht leads very nice they are to.

I like that paintjob, looks very nice, and being a 5 door im expecting people are well shocked when you dump valve it past them :D

well i has it to 400bhp loads more top end still only .2 faster on the strip then i sold it and i must admit i really miss it as well. I am driving a rangre rover and 1.6 astra's leave me ;)
