      Good purchase
Had a sneeky feeling it was yourself that had bought this shell!
What are the plans then? You transfering your LET from your current gte into this one?

I changed my mind about putting a let in the current one as i use it as a daily runner. plan is to let it about 250bhp- 280bhp f28 with a quaife should be fast enough on a track.

got a let Darren do you have a copy of GTE 16v car wiring diagram and colours of wires etc that can be scanned on to the computer as have a whole cars loom lights fuses in a bag and is about 10kg of wires lol .. going to be a head case trying to strip it down to basics.

Got commitments i need to take care of first then will be starting on this.

Thanks for your kind words everyone

                  Re: my new track toy

Glad to see you put pictures up on here, Liam.

Buying a decent shell to begin with is deffo the way to go with these cars.

Here's some pictures of the car when it was in Rob's hands which I took at Billing in 2008.

Oh by the way Liam, you may be sticking a LET in it, but I'll still give ya a run for your money at track days once I get mine sorted!

Might be wrong, but iirc Harvey had a complete wiring diagram which is probably what your after.

I do indeed and it's a 7 meter long taped together print out of the the complete Haynes manual wiring for the mk2. Helped me out no end as it meant I could strip every bit of wiring I did not require and cut it at all the junction points properly. Saved me a lot of weight as I ended up with two full carried bags.

This was back in April 2006 and it took me two weeks to complete!

All scrap including the ABS loom and ABS ECU. I never weighed it all but rest assured it was well over 5kg.

You can see how skinny the main loom is to/from the fuse box after it was re-fitted. I also moved some of the fuses round for security

I hope so. will be good to see yours alive again. Think it will take me a bit of getting used to going from 160bhp to 280bhp.

I want a set of these supertouring wheels. I have been looking for about 6 month and can't find any. so if anyone spots a set for sale could you let me know cheers

might be cheaper to buy a whole vectra ST (the 2.0 ones)! theres one on mig for £450, break the rest
