Re: newbie16v resto
yeah do like the wheels have lipped the inside of the new rear arch to give room for them to fit , also sealed up the lip and shultzs so hopefully wont allow water and dirt to rot out in the future, lots to do but just crack on when not too busy at work and manage to knock off early, all welding to do , dash and interior to refit , body to prep for paint ie all repairs to make right sort any small dints etc and then flat the lot off and hopefully i will paint next summer , then start on engine , noisey tappets to sort, cam belt , oil leaks at least it has a nearly new janspeed full system on it , sounds well nice

Re: newbie16v resto
new arch welded in , need to fill and tidy up hopefully can get as tidy as other side, need to seal the welding up before waxoiling , and there is a lot, moved on to an astra cause was fed up welding old escorts but to be honest this astra has needed more welding than most of the fords i have done, nearly as bad as the last mini i did, least it will be faster, got leather interior to pick up next week , couple of pics of my other restos
