my new gte....

hi people thought i would post pic ov my new car..its my 6th gte lol i love them..got this 1 copple weeks ago. it was £900 with 2 owners from new.full history, recept from new..also every m.o.t from new.the plate is the origional 1 from new and hav had it valued at £1000 :) the car has only done 70000 from new..im planing to put a turbo lump in it soon.just got to find 1 lol..iv just put some new arches on it as the old arch didnt look good after beating it about to fit the 18" alloys :D they do look good..well just thought i would share my news and see what you all think...thanks....

champ rep yes lol....and yes m8 i did get it off ebay. always bit dodgy buying cars off ebay. they dont always tell you about things wrong till you get there. but this 1 was spot on as they say.. it was a family owned car buy the 2 keepers before...it even come with a boot full ov brand new discs pads lights..and a full tank ov fuel lol. so yes as you can tell im over the moon with the car lol..will post pics with alloys on soon,thanks......

Looks spanking, whats the other side like dent wise. No wonder you are looking for the champ interior, would be easily mistaken for a champ with the leather in and with the stickers on it would basically be one!. Does it have any fading / laquer peeling problems?

hi to you all. no it dosent hav any paint fade at all so thats good. but im a paint sprayer any way lol so dont matter. the outher side is the same just was bit ov rust on arch. but got 2 new arches on now. iv got the champ stripes on the way from dandare thanks buy the way..then just the leather... cant wait to get it all done... thanks 4 all the intrest boyz.....

I think there is a way from finding out from your numberplate via a "register" but im not sure on the details now. Its odd how you and BazW both have bordeaux red astras with a champ sticker on the rear but nowhere else :confused:

similar graphics were fitted to other vaux cars at the time, the Mk3 Astra Cesaro for one. They are not unique to a GTE, and it's not unusual for people to stick things like this on.

mines had a respray at sometime so might explain were the side ones are (if it ever had them that is :rolleyes: ) mines got a black dash as well tho :confused: I wonder if it's worth contacting the vauxhall heritage centre see if they have any info that could help

this was at TOTB, champ side decals and you could see where the the boot sticker had been but no leather, it had sri/sxi seats in it
