saw it in warrington today, couldnt catch up to him, lights got me!

anyone on here? had the courtney Alessio speedlines on, 16 inch

they did not make n reg gte's did they, they stopped on a j reg please correct me if i am wrong

The one you saw probably was a new shell and rebuild too.

Has to be same age or older. 'You can't make a car appear newer than it is', I think the wording on the DVLA website goes.

2 k-reg gte`s around my area i see time to time and get a nod :D And a L-reg gte cabrio , Seen it 3 times in about 5 months so dont know where there from , Looked nice as well :D

yes, it was an N reg, Could have been a private plate, but to that end, if i was to put my money on it, id say Nexia shell

theres an N reg nexia round here its exactly the same as a mk2 even with a gte spoiler

the private plate has to start with a letter the same or earlier in the alphabet

I'd bet its a nexia shell, but that said its not a straight forward job to convert a nexia to a GTE lookalike, someone on mig did it and its not simple!

there are a few early nexias that are no different to mk2's same headlights everything. the one round here has got a rear fog light stuck on the bottom of the bumper suggesting its been imported

re-shelling into a nexia is a more work than it might seem, maybe an ultra late registration or a re-shell.

there are a few early nexias that are no different to mk2's same headlights everything. the one round here has got a rear fog light stuck on the bottom of the bumper suggesting its been imported

That would be a Racer, or a Lemans then... UK nexia's were all the "rounded off" version of the Mk2, but the later ones came with different mirrors and side repeaters in the UK.

Also, Lemans came with a really funky digidash.

I thought that at first but it was definatley badged as a daewoo nexia, it was in my mates workshop so I got a good look at it. didn't have a digi dash either

I saw a le mans on holiday in beverly hills of all places, not too far from ozzy osbornes house :D

Hmm strange, looks like my knowledge of Nexia's could be defective :lol:

Lemans came with Digidash's in the eastern Bloc, of all places lol! Looks like this:

nooo the nexia/cielo is different from the astra mk2! it has a more rounded bodu altough on thesame subframe!
The racer is the exact copy of the astra mk2!

Ive Had A K Reg Soft Top And There Are 250 L Reg Mk2 Flooting Around And As For An N Reg One It Was Prob Imported In 95/96 In Which Case It Will Have That Year Neg

could have been an import. it was summat like N17 *** deffo 2 numbers, suggesting a private plate, but even so, that means its gotta be N or newer.

i didnt believe it at first, hence i went after him, but lights changed. Was gunna try & flog my rear clusters
