Weight of Astra Gte 16v

Just been down to my mate who owns a scrapyard to get a new wheel for my wheelbarrow and he offered to weigh the car for scrap value (cheeky git).. Anyway it was 1038kg with a good half tank of fuel.. Not too bad considering the sunroof and full interiorAnybody else done this??

thats cool! 1 kilo off the brochure figures (from memory)

i did weigh my old one when it was stripped out and they said 980 kilos. i did start to wonder how accurate it would be under a tonne, if its used to weighing 30 tonne dustbin lorrys

i weighed mine, with let and f28 @ 1106 with about a quarter tank and full interior. It worked out to 187 bhp/ton
