Pulled up at a set of lights on Blackhorse road in Mangotsfield, Bristol on the way to my house earlier and looked at my mirror ro see a GTE front end pulling in. Whoever it was recognised that I was in a GTE and they pulled around and came alongside me at the lights. We both gave the customary nod to each other but didnt have a chance for a natter or any advertisement on my part as the lights changed. The bastard cut me up on the lights as well :D

Had a 16v badge on the back and also on the front bumper so im guessing they had done a conversion.

I also spotted a mk2 in my local garage a few weeks ago. I told the lady about the site but she looked as if she thought I was about to nick her bag and was in a stance to kick me in the nuts so I left her be :confused:

Just so everyone knows, I caught up with this guy last night as well and he's a mk2 nut! I think he said he currently has 5 mk2's! I feel a shambles with my 3 :rolleyes:

The guy was really friendly, by the name of Julian and apparently his missus loves the mk2 as well! Ive been invited around his house to see the collection, cant wait! I'll let him tell you himself, but he has a couple of interest i think :D

Had a natter in the centre of town, promoted the site and went our separate ways. I think he said he had signed up a while ago but it looked a little dead. I told him its picked up quite a bit on here lately due to spammers like me, so make sure you make him feel welcome lads, top man!
