My first 16v

Heres a few pics of my first 16v before and after i had a slight accident!!!!
A mk2 Escort reversed out in front of me :mad: when i was doing 70ish :( , i managed to slow down to about 40 then i hit him up the a*se. The Escort came off worst, the rear panel was level with the back seat!! :eek:
Managed get my Astra back on the road, as only the front drivers side leg was bent downwards and inwards. Once the bodywork was straighten it took me 2 days to rebuild the rest. :)

oh well at least its one less ford on the road because of it, and the astra survived!

Owch indeed, By the looks of the 3rd pic the inner wing has got quite a kink in it. Did you get it on a jig? How did it drive after it was all put back together?

Yes it was re jigged, and resprayed by a local garage. It drove better after the accident than before. Though when i was rebuilding it, i noticed that the rear passenger panel had been renewed at sometime, maybe it had had another bump before i owned it??? :(
