I love that Colour, was tempted to do mine the same when it was getting resprayed. Its "Arden Blue " I think, same as the mk4 Gsi Turbo colour.

There are some fantastic pic's there, Love that black kitted Reiger GTE, Is that Durzel's old car from MIG? The dark Met blue one beneath the yellow blob is nice to:cool:
Hopefully the Kadett will be nice enough to be found on the web in years to come!

yeah that has got to be one of the best looking mk2's iv ever seen! i would put mk3 astra phase 1 or 2(vectra) rear door handles on it instead of mk2 ones just as a finnishing touch!

Cant agree with you more on that mate ,i think there was an audi door handle conversion for vaux a bit back iirc .

yeah i seen the audi one advertised looked quite good and would suit the mk2 but i think i would stick with vaux ones.

i lost count the amount of times i stared at the rear arches on this pic, trying to imagine it in steel grey.

Kris

some really nice exsamples there, given me some inspiration!

http://img3.exs.cx/img3/7828/fat8.jpg

What rear skirt is this I really like it alot! Anyone know where I could get one in the uk?

http://oddball.usererror.org.uk/car_stuff/crazy/kalle2.jpg

What do you guys think of roof tip spoilers? I have one but I don't know if I would use it.

http://oddball.usererror.org.uk/car_stuff/crazy/frontleft_big.jpg

Those sideskirts are luvly and so are the wheel arch trims, anyone know where to get those? I'm more interested in the sideskirts, are they the testerossa (or how ever you spell it) skirts?

Great pic's!

odders is that neil adams car? .

also the red gte with body kit an rear arches on it....the one taken on the beach, thats the spitting image of a gte that hoons around falkirk. right down to the same wheels albeit on a lower profile tyre.

I've got testarossa skirts on mine, the ones on this site; http://www.tuning.co.uk/vauxshop/en-gb/dept_716.html are deffinetly (but only slightly) different from the ones I have, which may explain the price difference between the two companies.

Remus - I got my skirts about 6 years ago when I did the beast up initially, I think they were around £115 for the pair.

REMUS
12-11-2004, 11:09 PM
where did you get them because i've just sourced a black 16v gte in good condition with a 16v engine for £400... sounds too good to be true I know but we shall see! But I am not going to spend almost as much as I paid for the car on some smeggin side skirts!

EDIT: Also you know that black astra, is that the GTS front bumper? I'm either going to go for that or the GTE bumper with zender splitter.

Anyone reccomend any rear skirts/bumpers, cuz the GTO one stands out too far for my taste, I did see a pic of a JMS skirt that looked nice but I can't find it for sale :/

http://server2.uploadit.org/files/REMUS1-2005.jpg

I think thats the jms rear skirt? I think it would look really nice if I smoothed off the tail gate and mounted the plate on the bumper.

does any one know off hand what type of car is the most uniquely moddified?

mk2 astra must be in the running. as the nova /corsa/saxo boys all have the same kits.

i still think that the best looking mk2's are the subtle modded like the irmsher gte in grey on page 1.

Astra irmscher wide body...copy
http://www.m-99.co.uk/Car_Bodykits/Vauxhall_Astra_MK2/astra_wide
The sides and the back are close to the "real stuff" but the front is different in many ways...not looking good.
The real irmsher converted astra's are a rarity....due to the fact they are so extreme
these kind of kit only look good with large ,wide rims, and a serious lowering.

I work with the owners brother. It was featured in Sept 2003 IIRC.

Its had a LET installed with custome manifold and T3 turbo. I'm going to talk to the owner soon to see about buying some/most of the bits :)

that car is stunning! one of my fave mk2's! i think the only thing i would do to that is put mk3 astra door handles on it.
