Hi Folks
I recently bought a mk2 astra gte 8v for spares for the belmont . The car is a h plate 8v in red (well Pink ) Last on the road 07 needs 2 sills and a patch in the boot to my knowlege. It starts and runs but the tenssioner,pully or the water pump must be on the way out as the belt is slightly slapping timing cover. I intend to rob it of its radiator and oil cooler and replace it with the corsa 1 that a temp in the belmont . But i was in two minds weather to fix the tennisoner or water pump and use as a track car but was thinking in could just turn in to a money pit. Or just break the car for parts ??? Any advice on breaking would be great as I have never broke a car for parts. Many thanks
