Hi i am only 16 but :) erratik :) about driving next year. i have always wanted a Gte now i have got a mk2 GTE 8v in black i am modding it. i put some 17'' alloys (T.S.W) (I.C.E) (Janspeed) (Fake Dump Valve) its clean and tidy ready for when i drive next year

I didn't mean he wouldn't make you one if you weren't a member, I just wasn't sure if you could have a sig pic if you weren't a member etc!!

It's always tempting to impulse buy loads of stuff at Ripspeed when you've bought your first motor but I'd really resist it as much as you can mate - First of all try and pass that fake dump valve onto some fool with a saxo or something... I can guarantee that maybe not tomorrow, or the next day, but sooner or later you will really really regret spending any money on that.

get used to the handling on a mk2 astra first before trying to make it faster ;) I lost count of the times I spun my 1st gte arsing about :o but luckily I never hit anything.

i'd spend my cash on front and rear strut braces and a decent set of springs and shocks for starters

As everyone has said above, no fake dump valves please, thats torture to a retro car :p - Take it easy and when you dont prang anything in a couple of years you can move to a 16v / V6 / Turbo power ;)

Welcome to the site and even though we dont approve, any wind gushing mods etc that you put onto your car let us know how you get on :D

dump valves are for cars with turbo'slmaolmaolmao take it off mate, or everyone will laugh at you when you tell them its fake!

was 20 when I got my first GTE, the 16v Im breaking at the moment. Currently got 3 Mk2's.

i got my first GTE 3 months after i passed my test ripped it apart and droped the engine in my old belmont
