3 pics of my old H plate Belmont CDi...pretty damn good condition it was too, with the interior being like new apart from the usual wear on drivers seat bolster.

The mods to the car were the SRI boot spoiler, was lowered 40mm using BOGE gas shocks and Chassis Dynamics springs which tightened up the chassis and handling superbly, the car fealt bloody awesome afterwards.

I fitted a top range Pioneer r/c and JBL dash speakers too...i always wanted to swap the alloys for some Cav or Calibra 15's but could never find any of the ones i wanted...

This pic was taken prior to it going in for its suspension:

This pic was taken directly after i got it back from having the suspension fitted...doesnt really show that well TBH, but like with all suspension, it settled down quite abit more over time:

and finally a nice scenic shot taken while we were up in Scotland..quite picturesque eh? ;)

I PX'ed it for my 1st Calibra...i then didnt see it for 2 yrs then it turned up in my local sea-side town...paintwork was Pink, alloys black and fecked, sills all caked up with underseal and arches rusty...very sad!

why did you swap it for a cally?

I had been after a Calibra since i passed my test...but owning one straight away was a no-no as far as insurance was concerned...the Calibra was just a progression, plus i need a sizeable car due to my size - 6ft7inch!

So, 1st car was a NovaSR, had that for 12months and progressed to a bigger, more powerful car to the Belmont, had that for about 2yrs then bought the Calibra...

I did love that car, it went like a rocket and was pretty much unique in the area, and never let me down.

Without sound harsh...no not really, i do miss it, like i miss nearly all my old cars, but i wouldnt have kept it, same as my NovaSR, and Cav Diplomat.

Dont get me wrong, The Belmont was a very good car and served me very well, but the Calibra was a much better car in all area's...the only thing i did really miss was the 2 extra doors ;)
