Just wondering how many people use their GTE is an everyday car, and how many people have it as a toy?

Mine is an everyday vehicle at the mo but considering buying another car for work

always had 2 cars as i'd never cope with my toy as a daily driver! got a shonky escort TD as a daily drive, soon to be replaced by a Corrolla T sport though.

my old 1.4 was an every day car, i bought the GTE 16v to build at a track day/weekend fun car, i crashed the 1.4 and i am not driving around in a 2.0 carlton, might soon be swapping this for a mk2 astra van. so i will have van as every day car and GTE for fun!

always used to run the GTE as my everyday car. When the new one is done it'll only be for weekend use, I'll just get a cheap car to run around in. got 4 cars at the moment though....

i gota 1.4 astra for daily use and a 1/16 scale hummer h2 for fun

Up until last month my GTE was a daily runner, but I recently decided to take the car a bit more seriously and to use it just for track, drag and the odd weekend blat. My new daily runner is a BMW 318i, which is a much more pleasant car to drive everyday tbh.

I was using mine as an everyday car but could not cope with the fuel (and i will use it for sprints and drag only !so now i bought a talbot horison with a toyota 1.5 diesel fitted to it and it sure made a difference in my pocket!
Vauxhall 20 16v = 40-50 quid of fuel a week (could be the way i drve tough )
Toyota 15 diesel = 13 quid every 23 weeks ! ( i know its a slug but could use the money i save from fuel to mod tha astra engine )

Luckily I've got a Mk4 SXi company car so I use that 99% of the time, the CDi is currently off the road (as most people know ) I've got a B Reg XR2 that in storage and my Bike for the 1% of the time I get left to use it!

All my Astras used to be daily drivers. I now have a company van and will soon have a company car. I still just cant help but get home and bring the GTE out to play though

We have two mk2's, a GTE16v and a GTE convertable. Both are used as daily drivers but in winter i take the convertable off the road.

I got two my 4-year during project astra mkII & my roundabout civic 1.4...
At least it revs until 7000rpm...
