My astra obsession started with my first car a brown mk1, which at the time having no money my only mod was a set of spotlights. I then bought a mk2 a lovely bright red 1.8 SRI. It had already been lowered by 60mm which was great fun! Then my partner had a 2L 130 cav engine spare so we went to work and changed it. Lovely Jubbley. All was well until my sister hit me up the rear and it leaked after that. Oh well time to get something faster. I was finally old enough to afford to insure a 16v. yippie. So i found a quite cheap and low mileage one, 52K. The only thing was the colour its that silvery/gold one. It has grown on me though.My plans are to just repair rear arches, lower it and some alloy wheels. maybe some RS-GTs.

both look smart! the GTE looks the same colour as my astra, its rembrandt silver, paint code is 87L/L137
