After having a look through the Bosch catalouges and realising that a great many parts are still produced i have decided to compile a list of parts for the more popular models of Mk2, complete with the Bosch part number.

I have also done a list of parts that Bosch still produce for the C20LET.

This is a complicated one due to the fact that there are many different variations of brakes, for example the 1.8 engined astras have nearly 12 different options depending on engine code, year of car and brake manafacture.

For this reason i have not listed the discs and pads options here but if you require part numbers pm me and i will let you know.

continuing on from this i bought these today 5 sets of WR7DC+ spark plugs for the 20NE/20SEH/20SER, a set will be going in the GTE and a set are for Mels turbo engine, the other 3 sets will be kept for spares. :thumbsup:

I was wondering about pressure sensor intake manifold - 0 280 101 007 for the SER/SEH, maybe mk3 cav/astra have a manifold drilled for this? As the GTE doesn't have this sensor.

Im not sure who has noticed but the idle acuator on the list is the idle control valve, im getting 2 of these priced up next week.

i rang motor factors earlier this week and they can get the bosch idle control valves at the rather unpleasent price of £135 (shock)

Just checked, under other models they list it as the speed sensor? but on the C25XE they dont list one :(, they do have a phase sensor listed that wouldnt be it would it?

could be, but thats noramlly used as another name for cam shaft sensor

Keep ya mince pies open for an update, going to make this list tidier and more extensive covering every engine choice and try to include parts for the V6, LET and the Frontera 2.2 engine.

Also need to update ignition componants and braking parts :)

Right people this is the plan of action regarding Bosch items that are still produced....

What i am going to do is create model specific lists for the following :

Vauxhall Mk2 Astra 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.6SR, 1.8GTE, 1.8SRI/SXI, 2.0GTE, 2.0GTE 16V

I will also create lists for the following engines C20LET, C25XE, X25XE, X30XE, X22XE.

These lists are then going to be converted to PDF files and uploaded to the site, that way instead of just a big list you will be able to click the PDF file specific to your type of car, if you have an engine conversion then you will also be able to click the PDF for the engines listed above.
