Went to move thr car so i could give it a wash ,got about a foot and crash bang wallop .:mad:

The only good thing about them falling totally apart is it make the buggers easier to remove.
It's hard enough looking for the circlip in amongst all that grease, letalone having the joint flopping around on the end!

Hardest thing for me with drive shafts is trying to get the fookers out of the box ,that just deffeats me totaly :o

Doesn't it just.After an extended period of bruised and bloodied knuckles,multiple expletives and copious amounts of coffee,a 12" long cold chisel and a 2 lb hammer achieve the required miracle in about 20 seconds.

I just give up on getting them out of the box ,now i just release the shaft from the cv joint .Ijust end up looking like a total prat strugling with it for an hour :p

i find the best way to get a drive shaft out is to push it into the box twist anti-clockwise, and yank it bloody hard all in one movement! usually works first or second time for me! cv joints are a b4sterd tho! you need a lot of patients!
