    Been busy with this car since September 2007, Finished the motor and fitted it end of last month, Going very well!!

    NEW ARP CONROD BOLTS
    NEW ARP HEAD BOLTS
    NEW KS PISTONS
    RACE SPEC CRANK
    STANDARD SB 16V RODS
    NEW BIG END BEARINGS
    NEW SMALL END BEARINGS
    NEW GM OIL PUMP
    NEW GM WATER PUMP
    NEW GASKETS&SEALS ALL ROUND
    F20 STRIPPED AND BUILT LIKE NEW
    BRAND NEW COPPER CLUTCH
    KONI ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION
    RACE SPEC ENGINE MOUNTS

    Other,

    New Tie Rod Ends/Ball Joints
    New Wheels Bearings
    New Front Disks&Pads
    New Plug Leads
    New Stickers All Round
    New Battery
    New Water Bottles
    New Rubber Beadings All Round!!

    Stock Management for a little while then the Dicktator will be fitted when the ITB's get fitted.

    And there are Wilwood Calipers Aswell sitting here.


    I'll Keep this Updated from here on. - Body Shop Tomorrow and so on . .

    what exhaust manifold are you running ? is it a lexmaul, or is it part of the brospeed superboss package ?

            Last week Friday & the last two Days.

            KONI shocks fitted
            Eibach Springs Fitted
            NEW Stabilizer Bar Bushes fitted
            Set Adjusters
            Wheel Alignment Done
            NEW Starter Motor Fitted today


            Sorry for the bad Pics(new phone takes bad pics)













            Waiting for the NEW Radiator Suppport Beam so the Oil Cooler can be fitted&bumper.
            And also fit the AFPR.

              June 27th

              Yes more work done today

              The BIG BOSS AUTO Body Kit on the car has grown on me and I decieded to keep it even though I have stock items sitting here aswell.

              But, the side skirts fold under the car making Jacking the car up and putting it up on the hoist a slow carefull process, and with all the modding/fiddling/upgrades been done and more going to be done, I decieded that stock skirts will be the better option for me, although I liked the BIG BOSS AUTO skirts.

              So this afternoon off came the skirts and next week the Stock skirts will go one once paint work/body work has been done.

              The way these where put on was Crazy, Bolts/Fiberglass, my guy almost killed himself getting them off :lol: , someone never wanted these to come off.

                July 8th

                Ok, Just when you though the Car was having a break, well back to work

                After 4 weeks of Fighting with GM and them finding it difficult to order a Part form the Factory 290km down the road....but....The new Support Beam arrived finally :!: :!:





                Then it was off to the Body shop,

                New Standard Skirts have been sprayed and are ready to go on, but first the body needed cleaning up, left side dent fixed up/Tidy up engine bay, and a bit of this and that.



                Brand New Side Skirt Clips:

                Boys at work and Ready for painting on Monday, (This guy in the picture is the only chap ever to do body work on any Opel I have ever had- He know's them back to front! ):




                New Front Support Beam Fitted & Now the New Oil Cooler can Be Mounted :






                Next week:

                Fit skirts
                Hook Oil Cooler Pipes Up
                New Standard GM Front will be here for Painting and Fitting
                New Shock Mounts to be fitted
                Mr Turbo Management to be Fitted

                  Oil Cooler & Aeromotive AFPR fitted.
                  Front Bumper to be fitted this week.

                  Just the one Moulding to go on tomorrow.



















                  Want to do the V6 288 Brake Upgrade as soon as I find some Calipers!

                    Not much salt spread on the roads in the winter then. lol.

                    Very nice car, are there many Kadett E's- Astra Mk2's in South Africa.
