The above car parked in a P zone 1/2 mile from the A1/A14 junction, south bound side. Been there for about a week!
Anybody lost one?

Drove passed the spot yesterday, the car appears to have turned into a pile of glass. :(

Nope, the Antibes is still going strong I'm pleased to say, shame to hear about this one meeting such a sad end.

In fact, the Antibes might return here very soon, I only needed it for a limited time and that is nearing an end... still less than 46,000 miles on the clock...

Yay, it's still alive!

Terry, did you ever get the rust sorted out on the arches?

Ian.

Antibes - 1300cc? What does it have over a merit?

Central locking, tinted glass, different seats, decals etc.

Actually based on a GL model to be more accurate, but used to be priced relative to L models in Parkers.

Hi Ian

Thanks for such an enthusiastic response, much appreciated!

Yes, the rust on the arches was treated, in the end time was against us as the car was needed so it might not have been to as high a standard as I'd have liked, but the last time I saw it it was holding up well. It did need a new clutch earlier in the year though.

Wonder what Terry will sell it for with minimal MOT and petrol in the tank? ;)

Could be a nice 'back to mint' project.

Ian.

Oooops, crossed posts there.

Sounds good, should live on for a while then. :) Clutch is a nice relatively easy job on those.

Hi again Ian

I missed your other post, sorry.

The MOT is about to run out, I was thinking of getting it tested before doing anything else, for my own peace of mind as much as anything else. I don't expect there to be any problems...

I'll keep you posted on this and give some more thought to the money thing!
