Do it!
You'll never look back! probably because you'll be too busy looking forwards!
Mines been off the road for so long, I've nearly forgotten what it was like but I know that it involved buttock clenching and high performance car embarrasing:D

i seen a 2 piece (equal legnth) drive shafts on a cally in a scrappy near me today. brett used to have a calibra 2.0 16v XE with euqal legnth drive shafts, apparently they are ment to help stop torque steer!? well it didn't work! he had et49 wheels with correct pressure and his cally when i drove it, it torque steered a lot more than his GTE does! brett would probably agree! his GTE has normal shafts with et49 wheels.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did that set you back?

holy crap I thought it would cost ALOT more than that, where did you get that from?
I was going to tune my xe when it comes but if I buy a set of forged pistons and a cam I will of spent more than that!
Is there any reason appart from insurance that I should stick to a xe?

Is there any reason appart from insurance that I should stick to a xe?So did I LOL ! I got it of a friend of a fella I know through Migweb, local to me so I did`nt have to go far for it either :) .
As for sticking to the XE is just personal preference IMO, as quick as the XE is , I`ll get a bigger gain out of the LET for less money, I mean how much would it cost to get an extra 50bhp/ 50 lbs/ft roughly from an XE ?

How much would a new turbo cost (just the turbo on its own, i know of an engine without a turbo), or where should I start looking to buy an engine, mig, cavweb... etc first of course, are there any other places I should look?
