lol i am far from rich but in the sceme of things its not a lot of money. Also with some people i dont understand the logic of spending thousands modifing and keeping a car on the road and then begrudging the £200 for tax?

£16 a month extra in tax is a hell of a lot of money. Considering your just handing money over for the govt to pi55 up the wall on immigrants, benefits and the NHS.

My sentiments exactly. What does your money get you exactly? People that are satisfied and happy with paying road tax need they're heads looking at. This country continually ****es me off at the moment, everything is either taxed to the hilt or illegal now. You can't have fun anymore, it's not allowed in this country, unless your an illegal immigrant, then you can do whatever you like and we'll give you some money and a house too. Tax is a huge bugbear of mine. I don't even work in this country at the moment and they still take 40% of my wages, and I'm sure it all gets used appropriately and benefits me and my fellow tax payers. Not.

                    Re: Road Tax Petition

what ppl forget is that our taxes HAVE to pay for alot more stuff nowadays

20 years ago you got cancer you died simple fact, now you get cancer and the goverment spends thousands on new drugs and treatments.

thats just one of the several things that means this goverment has to meat a MUCH larger demand for cash than any other.

alot of the money in this country goes on the nhs

would ppl moan less if we payed less tax but did not have a nhs ???

                      Re: Road Tax Petition

I'd much prefer a private health care system, yes. that or the NHS needs to be torn apart to the bare bones and rebulit from the ground up, with no regard who gets shit on or upset along the way.

I would have no problem whatsoever lying to this country and not paying my way in tax, in fact I'd go out and do it tomorrow if I thought I could. They dont deserve my hard earned money when they waste so, so much of it.

                        Re: Road Tax Petition

People will always moan about paying taxes. It's because it seems like your giving away money and recieving nothing in return. I think there are some very good services provided by the governments in Britain. Some people would say that the quality of service that the NHS provides is disputable, but my dad wouldn't be here without it so I'm very thankful for that. This country is becoming increasingly more expensive to live in, getting hit in the pocket always provokes a negative reaction. I have just come back from an almost third world country, it opens your eyes and I can honestly say that it makes you appreciate what you do have. I still think that Britain is becoming a depressing place to live in though, and I can only see it getting worse, especially when I look at all the spotty neds that hang about the streets at night, makes you wonder what will happen when they have to start working.

you get a very small veiw of what the goverment does with your money, that is mainly fueled by the media, who will quite happly show you the shit but not the good.

                          as thats what sells papers.

do you think that the goverment make themselfs look bad out of choice ???

do you think that if they could they would not charge you 1p tax and give you the best roads in the world and the best health care ???

                          cause they would

everyone thinks they could do better when the reality is its a thankless job and it does not matter who is in charge the masses will ALWAYS think its being done wrong.

in briton we all live above where we should, we have got used to being one of the richest countrys (althou most of our wealth was stolen), and im afraid we are on the downward trend to come back into line with the rest of the world.

we all moan about tax and how seen off we are but i just bought a 40 inch tv

some places around the world ppl cannot aford to buy a loaf of bread

the simple fact is we lead a VERY easy life in the uk were very pretected by our rights we get good pay and we get a good health service.

ppl moan about the health service and why

because they have to wait for 3 hours when they go to casulty FFS GET A ****IN GRIP. many country around the world there are ppl deing because they cannot get a flu jab.

and we moan because it takes a few hours to get seen.
