Hi folks, been a while since I been on. Practically living at work making/saving the pennies.

As the title may suggest I have recently had a mishap in the Belmont and
its lookin a bit sorry for itself. The basic story is, quiet rural A road, 11pm ish, -7 outside, sweeping left hand bend, iffy camber and.........ice. The result was a sideways slide into trees.

Damage report is - front bumper damage, front valance damaged, ariel snapped, bottom arm bent, front door has a couple of dents, rear door is dented, rear door glass is smashed, roof above rear door is dented and the rear axle is bent.

Im going to fix it but...... can I hell get hold of a pair of doors locally, good or otherwise. Does anyone know where Ill find some??? I use the car daily and Im missing her already.

Welcome back...I would try the 'findapart' sort of place, or locate a part or something like that, they then email you local scrappy's that may have doors, or give you details of breakers willing to deliver.

dent in the roof? doesnt sound at all good...

Sounds like a reshell may be needed tbh.

Im confident I can fix everything damaged without too much problem, the main part I need is an offside rear door as mine is bent at the top of the frame. I could repair it to somewhere near passable I think but life would be so much easier if I can get a door. The bottom of mine is starting to suffer from tin worm anyway.
