saturday started slowly after running round for bits we got got going at rich's se (F'astra 16v) 
at about midday started by romoving all coolant hoses and wiring. Baz came round and offered no assistance except the usual poking fun at us all and steve 84 has been round on 2 10 hour shifts 
then started on the drive shafts which looked like they had never been out as hadnt the ball joints.
popped the shafts then started on the exhaust and mounts, we decided to lift the engine out of the top (what a big mistake) we got the engine loose lifted it as hight as we could then realised the ca wasn't low enough to get the gear box over the slam panel..... so we lowered the car so the disks were almost touching the floor and lifted the engine up and rolled the crane away
this afternoon we decided to mount the xe first we couldn't get the car high enough to go under then we couldn't get the engine under finally the engine was mounted so it is in rich's garage waiting for part 2 and a few bits for the carbs.... will get some of the very few pics posted up with my new colour scheme too
