Can't comment on them specifically, but they are the same price for oversize so have you considered getting a rebore then you know it's all mint? Assume you are going for big power, if so I'm not sure I would be totally happy myself with just a rehone.

I would go for the least oversize you can, less revolving weight and the power difference will be negligible.

I vaguely recall MVaux asking about £350 for forged low comp pistons, but my experience of their parts is that they are not made in a factory but by Matheus bottom, after a particularly bad meal

so best to have the engine sent to my local engine centre and see what they say about the bore etc.

Unless the bore is horrendous the least oversize (0.5mm) will be fine.

Going for the minimum size overbore also allows for another re-bore in the future rather than a scrap block.

Wossner pistons are, i think among the very best..

v-tuning recommend them, and Chris Astley (mig user) sells them

                get them

I thought that too, but then again a donor block is cheaper than another set of forged pistons I would think?

Pistons can wear out as well, but I like your thinking

And I suppose if the block got damaged it would likely be something that damaged the piston as well anyway.
