ill get some posted up as soon as i can. i only got them before my car got repaired so i havent got any yet. i bought them off a mate of mine who had them on his burgunday coloured gte, but has now opted for speedlines. once the cars finished at the weekend ill post some up for you.

well the story behind it is i bought the car 3yrs ago and restored the lot down to the bare shell. then 6 months ago i damaged the bumper and the passenger side. so i decided to put a new wing, door and bonnet and along with a big mouth front bumper (just the middle bit cut out). so now its painted again ill be poishing it every weekend cos i stoped doing it since the crash. ill find a picture of what it was like when it was first restored.

hopefully it will be finshed this weekend. got my gte bumper going back on but its getting a big mouth in the middle. the door handles will be going red and the sideskirts are going black again.

im in the north west. its been nice and hot all weekend and then all of a sudden we had thunder and lightening and everywhere was flooded.

its not quite finished but here is an update. still need the bits of trim for the bumper and sideskirt. need to mesh the front bumper and fit the number plate in the rigth place. also need to paint the door handles red. :D

not sure yet. a mate of mine has sugested to use black but im unsure. what do you all think? i have polished it 2 times this week but want to shine more. i use autoglym super resin polish but was wondering if any of you use anything better, of something that shines more. :D

yeh thats me mate. ive currently got a 1.8 engine in it but im bored with it now. got a new suspension kit in the end and am still looking for a bigger engine. yes the insurance is in the £1000s but its gonna come down next month :D

It was painted in 2k which is direst gloss. The primer is just a high build primer and etch primer on any bare metal areas first. Then it was flatted and buffed back up. Polished about 2times a month if not more since. :D

Yeh i had an air fed but i have used a cartridge mask before now for smaller jobs. The paint was just a 2pack mix (Paint, hardener and thinners.) which gives a direct gloss straight away from the gun. Would have prefered use clear over base though.

I have the rear bumper and boot to do. Spray 2k metallic with 1k clear b4 as it the hardener that gives of the fumes which are bad for you. Was thinking about acrylic but never used it b4.

Yeh ive got daves car at home but he doesnt know whats happening with it at the moment :confused: . As for a price it all depends on how bad your car is.

Well ive finally started to strip DaveGTE's old car ready to put the engine into mine. The wheels and sound system are all done. Just need to put the engine, wiring loom, alarm and rear disc conversion on. Will post some pics up 2moro. :D

hi mate how are ya? ive stll got it mate is been garaged whilst its having the engine done. havent actually started it yet though cos ive got my gsi to drive round in for now. once the engines in its having some paintork done (basically a respray cos im so fussy ha ha) and then its back on the road for summer.
once i start it ill post some pics up for everyone to see.
