well, been asked to set up and run a mail order section of RSC. They currently build 7 type bike engine cars for racing and always have various projects on the go (inc my astra lmao)
i am going to be doing a 16v corsa and so the conversion kits will be on the go, as will decent performance xe parts no doubt.
there is a booth and fibreglassing section starting up now, so fglass parts will be done too.
what else would you lot find interesting, thinking more generic parts too :) might set up a deal with a guy for quiafes & headstuds etc, that kind of thing

and remember its a racecar garage so expect some out there stuff and a discount :p :D

tailgate and doors will be done for nova, astra and corsa (and ford mk2 stuff too no doubt)
will see what deal can be done with quaife, that stuff may be 'to order' tho, can get anything tho i guess :D
turbo things will be included ;) intercoolers, injectors, blah blah blah you know the score its nothing new, but i want it to be a 1stop shop for those who want proper parts. a secton on here would be cool

oh, nothing will be sold in red tho so you are out of luck steve :p

yeah, will get that done
had a chat with a guy about quaife stock, not looking great, they have been selling more than they can produce for ages now which holds the price high (dont mean they do it on purpose, they just have huge demand) can get stuff, but doubt there will be a large saving :( will see about alternatives

ok, had a chat with the gaffa and heres the plan...sorry its a bit of a read!

we already have deals set up with nearly all major manufacturers and can get anything. and i mean that. we talked through which companies we deal with, its a lot!

first off i will be building a pricelist for all the products we can already offer and i think are worth listing (that may take some time!!!!) and will be putting it up here to get feedback on prices and if there's anything i have missed.
transfer that to a half decent website that will include the cosworth and bike engine car side of things.

once that side of things is up and running we will be producing more bespoke items and i have a good few ideas what is required there, a fair few of you may well be interested (thats the idea after all)

as to whats available, heres a taster (****ed if i can remember everything at the moment, thats what the catalogue will be for LOL)
Coilovers (Bilstein, Leda, Spax, Faulkner springs)
Tyres (All road and race pretty much, but we shall advise whats best to your application)
Brakes (Wilwood, Ferrodo, includes things like bias valves, pedal boxes etc)
Engine parts (everything, rebuilds etc, headwork, porous fixing, will see what high performance deals i can get on cams, pistons, rods etc)
Bodywork (again all, from painting a spoiler to full rebuilds, in house spray booth) and i will be showing examples of the work as theres a corker of a mk2 in just now that has gone rotten everywhere a mk2 can!
Alloy bits (Fuel tanks etc, most things fabricated tbh, just ask)
Then the smaller bits such as Goodridge hoses, filters blah blah blah when i say everything i mean everything as i am setting this up as a 1-stop rally shop

we plan to try and offer everything at a price equal or lower than our competitors and for you lot everything will be free postage and things like t-shirts for orders over 50 quid, the usual stuff :p i will also run special offers through this site, probably a monthly thing, but bear with me till i get going properly.
Then in the future i will run invite trackdays and the odd subsidised trip to the nurburg for those up for it, but thats for next year, plenty of time to let us build your car ;)

RSC is based in Forfar, Scotland but as i say, free carriage for you southeners ;)

All sounds good.. Speak to Allen about the Group A 'semi build' manual he has for the Mk2 GTE 8v... theres a few interesting ideas in there.

Have a look at www.prepfab.co.uk - they've some really good stuff.. excellent for ideas for Astra stuff.. Bought a few bits off them recently, it' all pretty good to!..

how much do you think the fiberglass doors/tailgate/bonnet will set me back?

it will be awesome if you get them made :)

prebfab seem to be a little pricey considering they make everything, 85 quid for doorcards tho? hope to beat that!
scort mk2 stuff has skyrocketed in price recently, we will be jumping on that particular wagon lol
welding looks nice
good link that, dont see any astra stuff on the site, but quality is obviously there

i will probably do an introductory offer for the fibreglass stuff, i looked over a nova door and was actually pleasantly surprised as to the quality, thought it was great
i am under a little pressure with this stuff tho i feel, i have to organise what we already offer before i can work with trevor on new material. have told him to just do it, but theres so much work in at the moment its not that simple :( bear with me and just save your pennies up guys :D

forgive any spelling/grammar its saturday night and i am just in from the pub after a few pints with my new flatmates :p
