Coming along nicely Liam.

Is this the same 16v you had when I bought those bumpers, axle etc from you a
couple of years ago. (bloody hell, I can't believe it was that long ago)

mot failure list above lots of little things that need attention.

The rear brake binding i think is to do with it sitting still for so long.
Check out the brake efficency (shock) ! most of which was the rear as the front was so sharp it jumped of the rollers and took him by surprise lol

thanks to stoner for all his help and putting the pics up:applause:

what a nightmare it is to work on a rear beam removing the brake pipes and the bushes

http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa230/StonerFlea/liams%20gte%20turbo/20070804_20141.jpg

it was so hot the axle stands were sinking in to the concreate so we put scaffold boards under them

http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa230/StonerFlea/liams%20gte%20turbo/20070804_20561.jpg

the rear bushes as we were removing them snapped my bush remover as was trying to remove without a blow torch .

http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa230/StonerFlea/liams%20gte%20turbo/20070804_20131.jpg

To remove the brake pipes in the end i just cut it and realised after that they just slide out after removing the retaining clip:banghead:

so off to get some shopping:thumbsup:

As i was doing the rear brakes i thought i would do all the jobs i was planning on doing. so to get the rear bushes out i purchased a blow torch(flame)

Basically i set fire to the bushes and pushed it out with a screwdriver and a hammer.

http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa230/StonerFlea/liams%20gte%20turbo/20070810_20091.jpg

after getting the bushes out there is a liner on the inside and the poly bushes don't fit (as we had tryed )

We started by bending over the liners.

http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa230/StonerFlea/liams%20gte%20turbo/20070808_20222.jpg

and wacked it with a 3 lbs hammer and a cold chisel

bushes on
http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa230/StonerFlea/liams%20gte%20turbo/20070810_20511.jpg

here is the finished artical with all the poly bushes on and koni adjustables ,brakes and new brake lines.
