been wanting to get the old girl resprayed since we bought her in april spoke to the bodyshop and arranged to take her in last week and so far the work is taking off quite well Bazw came round to give me a hand stripping the interior out and a week later this is how she looks....

de - locked doors
removal of rear and side vinyl
new stickers need to be purchased
alarm needs fitting
wiring needs sorting
all this needs to be finished for billing

Thank the lord those shocking champ/rally style hand painted stripes have gone!!! They were not good.:yuck:

Those colours look familiar, was this car on eBay a few months back?
The way the colours were done wasn't the best but I would love a Replica of John Cleland's BTCC Astra GTE from the late '80's.
If you're gona do it, do it properly.

yeah the car was on ebay paid £400 for her was a bargain it has been primered today ready for a full rub down tomorrow and paint by friday :D
not doing any of the replica stuff just want it looking good and shiny`

after lots of hard work she was sprayed this morning and is looking mighty fine:thumbsup:
