a new wiper motor.
This car is my runabout until the Astra is sorted.
Wasn't gonna post this, then I thought, why not?
The MOT is due on June 2 so I thought I'd better fix it.
Bought a new motor for £17 from a breakers and used a sunny Saturday for what God intended.......pi55ing around with cars.
I'm holding the new wiper motor here aganist the broken one.
I had to swap over the small black part with a pipe, which is part of the wash/wipe mechanism. It was held in by four clips and an easy swap.
The new motor came with a bracket, so the old one went in my bits and pieces box, as you never know when it will come in handy.
After unbolting two 10mm nuts and the 13mm wiper nut, the new one was in place.
After a bit of faffing around I decided to leave the rear wiper in this position.
I also cleaned the door pockets.

The Mighty Metro after a wash.
Low mileage.
I'm a little wary of the fact each number does not line up correctly as this could mean it's been clocked. However, the interior has no rips or tears and could be me just being picky.
I was also christened by the Mighty Metro after cutting my hand. I didn't cry, though, honest.
