Last was £314. Privilege.
This year £366. (Got married, less miles to work, more no claims??)

£251 with More Than including breakdown cover + protected no-claims.
Privilege weren't even interested in trying to beat it even though I'd been with them for 5 years.

£606 for me and the mrs on the 8v and ive had 11 points with 2 years no claims and she has got 3 years

Thats not too bad Tony. I managed to get the CDi insured for £197 FC with HIC. Would have been cheaper but I wanted to go with someone who could insure a modified car when I updade the CDi.

More Than appear to have quite a good deal at the moment. My GF drives a Festa auto (yawn) and insured with elephant 10month renewal was £320. This was with no additional driver, break down etc and TPFT. More than quotes £255 with additional driver and breakdown - result.

I still can't get sub £600 insurance on my beastie though . I need to wait untill I grow up a bit

I'm in talks with Firebond who I'm insured with for a club deal They do agreed value policies and modifications, and price is reasonable.

Been with Adrian Flux for a number of years and they always beat everyone else. We currently have three policies with them, soon to be four once I get the GTE on the road...not long now.

Insurance is a funny thing and varies so much depending on location/you/car/where it's kept/mileage covered/mods (if any) etc etc so no two policies are the same in my experience.

Got mine down to £595 this year. Next time i renew I shall be 25 and *touches wood* hopefully have 4 years no claims. It should drop to under £500 then, even with a London postcode....

mine having no - no claims, new driver rar bull crap... ive got it doen to a shocking 731 FC - cheapest i could find it... n thats with Kwik Fit of all people!

as i didnt drive or own a car for ages its like me being on my first car i suppose...

My car insurance has only just started to drop and I'm 26. My only downfall is lack of no claims despite no having any accidents of fault, I've only got 3 (4 on the other car).

Insurance on the Astra is still silly amounts, but worth every penny when you've urinating on £40k Porsche's!

That's an excellent price btw Tony, well done. Shows it's worth shopping about (provided you're not modded to the hilt)

mines still over £1150 tpft clean licence and 3ncb! cheapest i could get aswell! doris is only £350 fc though

i pay £580 with flux tpft with all mods declaired and 4yrs ncb and ive got two other policies with them.
they have allways been the cheapest for me except for the cosworth.(rsoc)

i find tesco are usually very good.

tesco was "usually" good for me but they wanted 850 for the astra.. hence y i went for quikfit...

plus got a m8 who works there so cheap tyres... staff discount + 10%discount card on top of that lol

have to agree wiht harvey been with flux last 5 or so years with the gte and other s been drilliant never fault them. just renewed with directline who where very cheap for me 270 for my corsa 1.5 diesel which was far better than anyone else to be honest
