Hiya's,
Seeing as car shells cocooned still until weather/time permit i thought i may as well start keeping a let/f28 strip rebuild pictorial

This let is going in a calibra with quaifed f28 but i will be doing the exact same rebuild with other let for in the valver

Plan is all new usual parts with all arp fasteners

Ok here we go (will add more pics as/when i take them)

Ohh i figure with the head being a dispac late one the seller had whipped a coscast off her beforehand (makes sense head being torqued to light and easy removable new inlet/ex nuts lol) So good job i'm rebuilding or it would of been a pain to remove to do proper

Ohh piston crowns and bores are A1 condition :) so just down to how crank is tomorrow but i've got a minty early crank anyways if needed)

Forgot digicam earlier but heads off now and turbo/inlets off so tomorrow it's just a case of sump off and crank out

Ciao for now

Have Fun

Hiya Sipo,
Not by trade no just love using tools and learning stuff so just self taught, Also helps if you love messing with engines or other mechanical parts because if you enjoy something it's more than half the battle

Some previous jobs stood me in good stead for welding and spraying and general tool usage became second-nature from my mid-teens bike messing about days

Always loved to know how things worked so on

Thinking about getting my bro to show me tig welding as this i would love to learn :)

I just damn love tools and messing he he

Cheers

Ciao
