Well here she is at last!

Had her over 2 weeks, driven her for about 2 days!

Bodywork is pretty good. Few odd stonechips on the bonnet that im gonna sort.

Has FULL Vauxhall Service History, and 75k on the clock! :eek:

I brought her 2 WEEKS ago, but only get insured on it 3 days ago so ive been driving it about for 2 days :D

So ive had to endure seeing it on the driveway everyday for 2 weeks knowing that i couldnt drive her :(

But now shes mine! :D

Its in such good nick i kinda think it would be criminal to do anything drastic to it.

Rub strips could do with darkening. Maybe colour code a few bits. Other than that shes gonna stay looking like that.

Maybe a change of alloys (nothing nasty though) and a good suspension setup when i get bored of the standard.

Then wash, polish and drive. :D

that looks well mint. what colour is it? star silver? has it got any sign of ever have been welded or fillered? or is it still the origional tin?

No way! The pics of yours on MIG look like out of Vauxhall Brochuers!

All looks original mate.

The only fault it has is the centre box is blowing, so need to sort that.

i was in the slow arse black focus behind and to the left filling up. Noticed the motor and was hoping to see a for sale sign!! nice motor mate...very clean from what i saw! :cool:

Had to go all the way to Southampton to get it :eek:

I usually fill up there once a week (Super Unleaded and Tesco Clubcard points, CHHAAA CHING! :D )

If you see me there again, come over and say hi. Oh but say your AstraPower otherwise im gonna think some random motorist is stalking me ;)

I also tend to wash my car there with the jet wash once a week (usually) in the winter, so if you see me scrubbing away, also come and say hi....

P.S. When are you gonna get a GTE then? :D

i will do mate! always nice to see well looked after examples on the road still....they are a dying breed!

Still looking to find a clean one (no garage to put one it to sort out)....was a shame i missed that red one for sale over the weekend!! grrrrr! nevermind...the hunt continues!

Yeah i just saw that post! I've seen that car in the flesh aswell, Daza works near where I go to the gym. Still havent met the fella though, although i wouldnt mind a run in his Astra SX Turbo before he sells it ;)

Nah he works at a place near me in Harrow. His work and my gym share the same carpark entrance/exit, so sometimes i spot his motor there :D

Nice GTE there matey, good to see decent ones still going as i dont seem to see any GTEs hardly down my way, looks good in silver, goes well with the trim's etc

Oooh that is nice.......Needs a nice set of rims, perhaps backbox... and lowering a few cm and thats that. Very tidy car.

Astra power, theres a nice cavalier calibre valver in hemel, good alternative to the astra mate. Took Matty out in the cav last night and had him screaming 'slow down' lol....

I might have said yes a few months back, but to be honest i love it too much! Ive changed some bits on it (shall have to get some decent pics up soon!), and it just makes me happy driving it. So thanks, but not thanks matey :)

Well it still has the original dealer sticker with Harwells of Southampton on it.

But i got it from a garage that seemed to be in the middle of no where? Down some country lane, then suddenly there was quite a sizeable car sales place....

Yeah it was the first one i saw in that colour. Have only seen 2 other (pics on the net).

Yeah i liked that pic too, hence its my avatar :)

I have put some 15inch vaux 6 spokes for the time being, as they are better than the teardrops, and no one would really wanna nick them :D

Although i might get some new ones in the summer.
